Festival of Trees
Providence Health and Services annually supports Gately Academy as we celebrate together the Festival of Trees at the Oregon Convention Center. Each year, this fundraiser chooses to support the programs at Gately Academy with its donations from the sale of the Gately Grand Tree.

The 2008 Gately entry, themed "Whistler Wonderland," represented a stunning collaboration by our team of talented volunteers, tree designer and Friends of Gately. The package included a beautifully decorated ten-foot tree with many wonderful accompanying goodies--roundtrip airfare for two to Vancouver, BC; private limousine transportation to the Fairmont Chateau Whistler on Blackcomb Mountain; 7 nights accommodation at the Chateau; 5 days lift tickets; helicopter tours; dog sled rides; spa treatments; horse-drawn carriage rides and much, much more! All proceeds from the sale of this tree benefited Gately Academy's Scholarship Fund. Many thanks to our dedicated committee who put this amazing package together.
A huge CONGRATULATIONS to Gately Academy’s 2007 Festival of Trees Committee and those of you who volunteered by decorating the tree space and working in Gately’s Bookshop. Gately’s ten-foot grand tree took first in show this year and sold before it came to the floor for auction at $20,000. These monies will be allocated to Gately’s financial aid program, allowing students who might not be able to attend Gately to do so. The students and families of Gately Academy appreciate the efforts of those who made this dream come true.
